Preface to volume F
Volume F contains all the information Vassilis Ghegas discussed during the November 1989 seminar in Wageningen (NL), organized by S.H.O. In this Volume, Vassilis thoroughly discusses the diffential diagnoses between polycrests: 'If, in daily practice, you find common characteristics which point to two polycrests, which symptoms will then determine your choice?'
Furthermore, Vassilis discusses the homeopathic remedies commonly prescribed in liver problems. He hierarchically classifies the liver remedies as they occur in this own practice, and goes into their characteristics for acute and chronic liver problems.
His lengthy chapter on asthma includes a classification of asthma types, how to treat asthmatic patients, and the prognosis with homeopathic treatment. Vassilis discusses 25 remedies and their characteristics in hierarchical order. In his experience, these 25 remedies can be used to treat 80 to 90% of patients with asthma.
As an aid to long-term follow-up, Vassilis discusses the complementary remedies to SULPH., ARS., CAUST., NAT-M., PULS and SIL. in acute and in chronic situations. In addition, remedies and their characterisctic symptoms in acute and chronic vertigo, and remedies for students are described.
Differentials and analysis strategies Vassilis provided at the occasion of some student cases, have been included in this Volume: APIS., OP., NUX-M., CON. and the remedies which are indicated in ulcers.
At the end of this book, you will find a comprehensive index which makes it easy for you to look up the information of all the volumes already published.
I hope that this additional tool will make the Vassilis Ghegas series even more useful in your daily practice.
